Pioneer Community Center: Cultivating Strength, Connection, and Community
Founded in 2012 by Ismaili Muslim philanthropists, the Community Focus Foundation (CFF) is dedicated to empowering the Ismaili community through innovative and sustainable initiatives. Our mission is to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every individual we serve.
The Pioneer Community Center (PCC) in Richmond, Texas, serves as our flagship project. Spanning 44 acres, this premier facility was made possible through the generous contributions of seed money, expertise, and time from the Pioneer Mutual Federal Credit Union and the Southwest Houston Ismaili community.
Designed as a hub for all generations, the PCC offers a diverse range of recreational, sporting, and socioeconomic programs. With Phase I and Phase II (completed in October 2023) now fully operational, the center features:
- Professional Sports Facilities: A large gymnasium with two NBA-sized courts, cricket and football fields, and tennis and pickleball courts.
- Wellness & Recreation: An indoor fitness center, a swimming pool, a scenic lake, and a one-kilometer walking path.
- Inclusive Spaces: Dedicated senior facilities and children's playgrounds to ensure a welcoming environment for every member of our diverse culture.
